This version of wool roll bread is filled with delicious chicken filling. The bread itself is very soft, despite using all-purpose flour to make the dough.
Ingredients
For Dough:
For Fillings:
Directions
In a bowl add flour, salt, sugar, yeast and oil mix well then add lukewarm water and knead it well then cover it with plastic wrap and keep in warm place for 2-3 hours
In a saucepan sauté onions for 4-5 minutes on medium flame then add ginger garlic paste and sauté for 1-2 minutes then add boneless chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes then add black pepper, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, chicken stock/powder mix well and cook 5-8 minutes on medium flame then add chopped tomato paste and until it becomes dry on high flame then add spring onions and mix. add cheese and turn off the flame n mix
Punch down the dough to release the air inside, then transfer onto a work surface. Divide it evenly into pieces. Shape each piece into a ball. Using a rolling pin, roll out each piece into an oval shape . Press down the dough around the edges with your thumbs to keep it from stretching back.
Cut out thin strips of dough along the top 2/5 part of the dough (lengthwise), but keep them intact with the remaining part of the dough. The strips will be dangling if we pick up the whole dough. Spread a thin layer of filling over the remaining part. Fold 1/4-inch (1 cm) from three of the dough edges over the filling. Then start rolling towards the dough strips from the opposite end to form a log. Repeat with the other pieces.
Grease the pan with butter or oil pan size 20x7cm then Place dough logs around the perimeter of the prepared pan. Cover and rest it in a warm area for 1 hour.
Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes on 170° or according to your oven.
Serve And Enjoy!!!!!
